I built a 6′×8′ cedar sauna on the back deck. After people kept asking for the plans, I drew them up — properly dimensioned, with the real materials list and prices from my own build (not someone else's guess).
These plans cover the design decisions that matter: California-corner framing on the back wall, the slope-cut studs for the shed roof, the wall buildup that lets the cedar dry on both sides, bench geometry that actually works, and vent placement for the right Finnish-style airflow.

How do I get the files?

What format are the plans?
PDF, landscape Letter. Watermarked. Print or read on screen. Bundle ships as a .zip with both PDFs.
Can I adapt the design?
Yes — every dimension is called out so you can scale, swap materials, or change door/window placement. Substitution notes for non-deck-mounted builds included.
Does it cover electrical?
Brief note on the heater wiring (50A circuit → 6/3 wet-rated → control panel). Consult a licensed electrician for your local code.

What's the difference between Phase 1 and 2?
Phase 1 is the framing (floor, walls, roof). Phase 2 is everything inside (insulation, vapor barrier, cedar T&G, benches, heater, vents). Buy what you need, or grab the bundle.
